Since many teenagers can drive, they are going to the most convenient fast-food places for the best prices,service,and food-quality. There are many options to choose from but, McDonald’s and Wendy’s seem to be the main hit, especially in Wadsworth, Ohio. The real question is though, which is most preferred between the two? Many Twitter users would say that they have seen the “beef” between the too corporations on social media. The two pick back at each other to joke around and make the other one look bad and it has been going on for years.

In 2017, one Twitter thread started with Mcdonalds saying “Today we’ve announced that by mid-2018, all Quarter Pounder burgers at the majority of our restaurants will be cooked with fresh beef.”

After seeing this Tweet, Wendy’s replied with “So you’ll still use frozen beef in MOST of your burgers in ALL of your restaurants? Asking for a friend.”

That was just one of the many examples that those two companies get compared over. In our city of Wadsworth these two fast food places are talked about frequently. When asking several students about which location they preferred, all of them said they prefered Wendy’s. The two buildings  are side by side but, Wadsworth’s Wendy’s was just recently remodeled and has a fresh modern look to it, while Mcdonald’s is still stuck in the 1970’s.

“I definitely like Wadsworth’s Wendy’s over our Mcdonalds not just because it’s a lot cleaner but their 99 cent frosty’s are the best.” Says Dylan Weinreich (10).

Another student that I talked to said, “Wendy’s is all around better quality than Mcdonald’s and has more flavor in their food.”

In all, it is safe to say that students would rather eat at Wendy’s than Mcdonald’s.The cleanliness of Wendy’s is for sure a key factor in what people prefer in Wadsworth. So, in the end what would rather?
