Coffee is drank by 64% of Americans in the United States. There are thousands of coffee shops available to pick up a quick drink on your way to work, school, or to just it bring back home. But, in my hometown Wadsworth there are two top coffee shops, Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. Which one would you rather have?

After visiting both shops, Dunkin Donuts is the best choice. Even though Dunkin Donuts is known for their donuts, they provide larger variety of drink and foods, their drinks taste better, and prices are more reasonable.

“I feel like Starbucks is overrated,and very expensive. Dunkin donuts has faster service, and better tasting coffee.” said Amanda Robinson, a mother of four.

Dunkin Donuts provides hot drinks, frozen drinks, and iced drinks. Within those categories there are several choices to pick from. These choices attract all ages, especially high schoolers. Since many teenagers do not drink coffee, this gives kids a lot more options. Even though Starbucks does have other drink choices, people have said they feel Dunkin has better choices.

People have different ways they like their coffee. By doing a poll on my social media account 100 people voted and  77% said Dunkin Donuts was better tasting all around.

“I drink coffee everyday, and I think Dunkin tastes less strong, than Starbucks.” explained Jessie O’Connor.

Since Dunkin has other drinks available they do not compare to Starbucks other drink options. When I visited the two coffee shops, I purchased a caramel frappuccino at Starbucks, and at Dunkin Donuts a frozen caramel drink. As I compared the two frozen drinks, Dunkin tasted way better.

“I love getting the frozen drinks or tea from dunkin. I have tried the same thing at Starbucks, and it tastes artificial.” complained Jaime Vaughn.

Would you rather pay $1.99 at Dunkin Donuts for a small iced coffee, or $2.25? Prices are way higher at Starbucks, than Dunkin. It may not seem a lot just purchasing one thing at Starbucks, but it adds up when you are buying for several people.

“I only go to Starbucks if I have gift cards, because I do not want to pay the prices they have with my own money.” explained Allie Hibinger.

In conclusion, Dunkin Donuts is the best place to go for any type of drink. It has a variety of choices, better taste, and prices are affordable.
